Salary Range: $50,000 to $65,000 annually (commensurate with experience)

About the Role

The Project Associate supports various research and consulting projects and reports to the Project Manager. This role entails a mixture of administrative and technical support work. This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for community impact, enjoys working on a variety of projects, and has strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the AE Team for research and consulting projects, including but not limited to:
    • Tracking project progress and timelines
    • Corresponding with clients, as appropriate
    • Assisting with scheduling, note-taking, and facilitation of meetings
  • Provide technical support to Project Manager(s) for research and consulting projects, including but not limited to:
    • Drafting various written materials, such as outreach documents, meeting agendas, and reports
    • Drafting presentations in PowerPoint and Canva
    • Collecting and organizing qualitative and quantitative data
  • Attend occasional in-person meetings and events, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Core Competencies:

  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Basic research proficiency and data literacy: Identifying, collecting, and interpreting data from credible sources
  • Desire to learn and grow in the field

Experience:

  • One (1) year of relevant experience in research, data analysis, or project coordination/management

Education:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or three (3) additional years of relevant experience in research, data analysis, or project coordination/management

Additional Desirable Skillsets

AE is prioritizing candidates with the following desirable skillsets:

  • Data analysis, utilizing tools such as Excel or SPSS
  • Designing data dashboards, utilizing tools such as Microsoft Power BI
  • Survey design, programming, and distribution, utilizing tools such as Alchemer or Qualtrics
  • Graphic design and communications, utilizing tools such as Canva
